Colibacillosis

A bacterial disease caused by a pathogenic strain of the gut bacteria called Escherichia coli (E. coli). Some strains of E. coli cause symptoms that are often digestive due to the large quantities of toxins they secrete. This disease is very common in many species like pigs and poultry etc.
