Ascaris

A major parasite whose adult form is present in the intestine of poultry and pigs. Its eggs, emitted in the external environment by faeces, are extremely resistant in the external environment, favouring re-infestation. Ascaris evolves in cycles by migrating through the liver, lungs and intestine.
